Inspiration: “Looking In’ was designed from a value sketch  transferred onto watercolor paper.Watercolor and acrylic were used. The repeat of the circle in all sizes was the objective  with one large rectangle in upper center.  Most of my painting have a rectangle or circle that looks back deep into the paper, but this rectangle stops and there are shapes on top of it coming forward.  In this painting most all shapes appear on the surface and so not go deep into the painting as I usually do.  The repetition of shapes was my goal.
