The Alliance Commission
In an alliance commission with designer Ferry Akgavizadeh, a building was constructed on Bryan Street in Dallas, TX. As part of the commission, two paintings were created to adorn the walls of the building. However, when the building was eventually sold, the ownership of both paintings was transferred to Rob Roby, who decided to display them in his law office. These paintings are considered a valuable addition to his office, not only for their aesthetic value but also for the story behind them.
After a successful legal career, Rob Roby retired from the law firm and assumed the position of President/CEO at Big Brothers Big Sisters. His remarkable 15-foot paintings accompanied him as he embarked on this new chapter of his life.
Regrettably, in 2022, Rob Roby passed away. Nevertheless, his legacy endures, as do the vibrant artworks he held dear. These paintings have found a new and permanent residence, adorning the walls of the Big and Little Brother buildings.
